While hundreds of gay couples get married all over California today, the majority of California's population is shaking it's collective head. While five of the Supreme Court Justices ignored the will of the people and instead, thrust their activist views into the forefront, the other four justices included their criticism of their colleagues in the decision. They agree with us that Judicial activism has indeed occured, and don't like it one bit.
Watching the evening news programs last evening, each couple interviewed by news shows claimed that they just wanted to be treated as regular people. That's funny, no one I've talked to says anything otherwise. We just want marriage between a man and a woman to remain the precious and unique institution it is. And most people will tell you that laws, legislation or Supreme Court rulings will not provide the approval for gay couples. Less than 1% of the population is gay - not the 10% lie that the media likes to perpetuate. Approval is what gays are seeking; they are already legally covered with formalized unions.
These same media and news programs ignored the opinions of the four justices who decented from the decision, but you can read it for yourself:

The social engineering taking place in this country is the same phenomenon that brought down the Roman Empire. It took them a few thousand years - we may accomplish this in a few hundred.
