It seems that the only people who can "legitimately" talk about race are blacks and Democrats. The rest of us are the race-baiters when we dare to disagree.
However, we who dare to think for ourselves know that the left is desperately reaching... grasping... and now gasping, for anything to deflect from their candiate who exudes... well... lot's of air and white noise.
The latest hysteria from those-who-can-talk-about-race is that Sarah Palin is a she-princess for the KKK because she wears WHITE. Apparently, whenever a conservative wears white, it's a secret signal to other conservatives that we are really devout KKK members.
A Democratic Underground blogger wrote this: “Palin is wearing white again, inciting the racist crowds. She should just drop all pretense and put on her white hood and light up a cross. She is a despicable human being.” If it wasn't so sick, it might be funny.
Michelle Malkin wrote in her syndicated column today:
*Obama supporters on the heavily-traffic Democratic Underground website (where such mainstream Democrats as Elizabeth Edwards hang out) saw the ghost of the Ku Klux Klan in Sarah Palin’s white suit jacket. Yes, white clothes = racism.
“Palin is wearing white again, inciting the racist crowds. She should just drop all pretense and put on her white hood and light up a cross. She is a despicable human being,” fumed a DU poster. “Grand Princess of the KKK,” proclaimed another. They’re “trying to send subtle signals to their rabid base,” yet another member of Obama’s rabid base declared.
My racial decoder ring must be on the fritz. Because I’m not getting the signal. If she wears white stockings, drinks a vanilla milk shake, and refers to budgetary black holes, are those incitements, too? And what about her gorgeous white teeth? Perhaps she should drink more coffee — hold the white cream! — to avoid emitting further racial radiation.
I spoke earlier this week with an eloquent, educated retired gentleman, and he shared this thought about the Democrats and race: "The top five reasons I am not voting for Obama primarly are because he is completely devoid of substance on issues important to me and most Americans: the economy, the military, health care, education, national security, and may include as number #5, that I am concerned about this black man being in the White House - but only because it is Barack Obama and his terrifying black, racist, Socialist agenda. Obama made it an issue, not me. If we were talking about Colin Powell or Michael Steele, because they don't make race an issue at all any more than I do, "being black" would not be an issue." Well said.
Barack Obama is the highest profile race-baiter since Jesse Jackson ran for President. Apparently, one cannot be a Democrat without first being black, gay or lesbian, or a woman.

Time’s Karen Tumulty, who spotted racist goblins in the recent McCain ad criticizing Obama for seeking advice from Fannie Mae corruptocrat, Franklin Raines. “Sinister images of two black men, followed by one of a vulnerable-looking elderly white woman,” Tumulty balked in a blog post titled “McCain plays the race card.”
Um, “sinister?” The ad’s photos of Obama and Raines were standard shots — some with dour expressions, others smiling. The fact that Tumulty perceived them as “sinister” suggests that she should perform a self-racism exam before diagnosing anyone else."
